Every January, our design team packs their bags and heads to Las Vegas to take in the innovation and energy at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES). All week long, the hottest consumer tech companies from across the globe converge in a week-long showcase of the future.

From AI optimization to zoetic robots, and next-gen batteries to food security tech, here are the most novel and noteworthy design, innovation, and industry trends we witnessed at CES 2025.

As Director of Innovation Strategy, David has worked with clients for over a decade helping imagine new futures and create desired solutions in diverse industries such as mobility, consumer products, HMI systems, home appliances, medical products, and future education services. Over the course of his career, he has been a designer at GM and ASC, was lead designer at Saleen where he penned the S5S Raptor supercar, and led helmet design for Warrior Sports. He is a graduate of the College for Creative Studies (CCS) in Detroit and stays active in the art community teaching design courses at CCS and leading the Michigan Design Council, a non-profit organization dedicated to cultivating and retaining industrial design talent in the state.

With a background emphasizing the importance of combining both human desirability with engineering feasibility in design, Lauren has a deep passion for understanding the needs of people and how they translate to a business growth strategy. She spent her early career growing and running her own small business, including managing new product innovation, instituting a multi-channel retail approach, and developing all marketing and PR communications. From there, she spent the next several years expanding her consumer research and business strategy skills at Gongos, Inc., where she specialized in bringing a human-centric approach to knowledge synthesis, trends, and innovation projects.
