SF Director of Design Featured in Detroit Month of Design Event
Tonight, SF’s Director of Design, David Thimm, was featured in “Inside the Network: Stories of Collaboration”, an event hosted by Design Core Detroit and the Metropolitan Museum Design Detroit (MMODD). This evening of storytelling from the field featured David, alongside other Detroit designers, in a co-narrated presentation of design projects highlighting the power of collaboration and cross-branding.
David discussed the hands-on tools and actual “vessels” of collaboration that we utilize in our product innovation studio for collaboration across the key disciplines of design, research, strategy. Reaching into our 87-year rich portfolio, David discussed projects with a diverse set of companies, focusing on the best practices that made these collaborations a success. Watch the full recording here for a limited time.
This event celebrated collaboration and encouraged members of Design Core Detroit to reach both inside and outside the Network for the resources needed in all stages of project development. This evening was also part of Detroit Month of Design, a month-long series of events, workshops, tours, art exhibits, celebrations and much more showcasing Detroit’s rich and diverse design culture and community. Check out the schedule for Detroit Month of Design.
Sundberg-Ferar contributed to Detroit Month of Design earlier this month too by hosting our own virtual design conference, “Enduring Innovation: Entrepreneurs Unite”. The conference featured speakers from all walks of the entrepreneur journey telling it like it is and sharing their insights, lessons learned, and inspiration.
