Sundberg-Ferar wrapped their 2020 series of Virtual Design Conversations this month as triumph for the design community in the COVID-19 pandemic. In this time when innovation, fast-thinking, and solidarity have been urgently-sought currencies across the market, Virtual Design Conversations created a platform for the creative community to connect with, inspire each other, and share ideas.

We built this initiative on the conviction that we, the Design & Innovation Community must stay connected and optimistic to drive our economy forward in these challenging times. We believe there’s been enough doom and gloom about canceled conferences, no air-travel, no large gatherings, shortages of PPE, and all the rest of it. All of us, even holed up in our home-studies and kitchens, can all still aspire to learn, connect, and have fun together. We all need cheering up in these times, and we, the design community, are the ones known for our optimism! What better way to lighten the burden than by connecting with each other?
