“Legos are the gateway drug to creativity”, is the self-fashioned motto Corey lives by. His passion for art and design began at an early age through immersion in skateboard graphics, MAD magazine and the aforementioned Lego. This life long enthusiasm for creating led Corey to study mechanical engineering at Western Michigan University. His senior project on biomechanics of shoe cushioning systems led him to a Product Design position at Becker Orthopedic in Detroit. Work in Patient Positioning, MRI systems, IV Securement, Laparoscopy and many other medical device groups followed combining for over 20 years of experience in medical device development, which Corey now utilizes in creating solutions for Sundberg-Ferar’s clients in medical and health industries.
In his spare time Corey works on art commissions and original paintings. He is an assistant coach for the Brighton Cycling team that his son competes for. He is also a ‘Dance and Soccer Dad’ for his daughter.
