Senior Industrial Designer
A childhood of curiosity and a love of building things lead Matt to the College for Creative Studies, where in 2009 he completed his degree in Industrial Design. After school he designed various consumer products for Vornado Air in Kansas, and helped design the visual brand language for Steamfast. He then joined Dyson to design consumer experiences and point-of-sale environments. In 2011, he returned to the Detroit, joining New Balance’s Warrior Sports division as the lead designer for protective equipment, working with pro lacrosse athletes like Paul Rabil and Rob Pannell. Matt also completed an MBA Certificate Program in Design & Innovation Management at the Kendall College of Art & Design in early 2015. Matthew stays involved in the design community, both as a regular design advisor at LTU and CCS, and guest speaker at Michigan’s I-Corps event.
