Ian M. Cobb
Senior Industrial Designer
Growing up, Ian was always passionate about art and sports. After graduating high school he went on to play college football at the University of Findlay while studying art. Ian fell in love with design and problem solving and decided to transfer to the College for Creative Studies in order to pursue a degree in Industrial Design. After graduating, Ian continued following his passion for sports with a design position at Adidas in Portland, Oregon. At Adidas, he worked within multiple design categories; successfully driving product creation from the design brief to final production, while providing creative support to the marketing direction of his projects. During that time, he also had the opportunity to work with signature athletes such as Derrick Rose and Robert Griffin III to create their iconic product lines. Ian has returned home to his Motor City roots and is continuing to grow as a designer, bringing an exciting perspective to the diverse array of projects here at Sundberg-Ferar.
